The DZ401 answers a different question from every other air fryer on this page. Its ten quarts are not one big drawer — they are two 5-quart drawers with their own temperature, timer and fan, which means chicken at one temperature and potatoes at another can be started at different times and still land on the table together. That is what Smart Finish does, and it is the entire reason to buy this over a single large basket.
Ninja rates the IQ Boost feature as redistributing power between the two zones, and claims the unit will cook a six-pound whole chicken with a side. Treat brand throughput claims as claims, but the underlying design is straightforward and the two-drawer layout is genuinely useful for a family dinner.
The costs are physical and electrical. At 17.1 inches wide and nearly 20 pounds this is a permanent counter resident, not something you stow between uses, and its 1,690 watts want a 15-amp circuit largely to themselves. If you cook one dish at a time, you are paying counter space for a feature you will not use.
